Day 10: Warrior of light – Rainy days

On rainy days of setbacks and failures, the warrior takes shelter in company of best friends namely, self-love and self-respect. Warrior’s friends provide shelter from thoughts swirling as emotional tornadoes and anxiety vortexes. Emotional tornadoes uproot from inner light and anxiety vortexes bury alive.

The warrior is exhausted by high waves of oceanic thoughts of setbacks and failures,  hitting like rocks. Sky covered with dark clouds stretch as far the eye can see. The warrior knows how to surf tall waves of thoughts using self-love and self-respect as surf boards. The warrior stays afloat  for a sunny day, when waves will be calming as water will receded. The purpose of rainy days is to learn how to remain grateful by realizing that the warrior is at mercy of an all prevailing force whose blessings are always abundant. Every moment is a miracle, only we are not aware.

The warrior raises his flawless sword of love towards the sky. Lightning strikes, reflecting off sharp edge of sword symbolizing realization of blessings and grandeur of life force disguised as setbacks and failures. Thundering clap follows at a distance in applause of the realization.  The warrior prepares for the morning, when the sun rays will crack through the scattering clouds to shine again.

Mind is the battle field of the warrior.

Thoughts are weaponry

Truth is the sword

Wisdom is the bow

Actions are arrows

Kindness and compassion shield of protection

Ignorance is enemy on path of truth to light

“Life is an opportunity to be victorious over mind to go beyond the mind to discover eternal splendor of life”
